About Us

Amy Cooper Ceramics is a partnership between Amy and her husband Gareth. They create, draw inspiration and dream from their garden studio on the beautiful Tresillian River near Truro. They were both born and raised in sunny Cornwall and got together as teenagers. After years of adventure and education they returned to their home county to raise their family.

Amy studied Art foundation at Falmouth School of Art and Design and attained a BA First Class Honours in Ceramics and Sculpture at the University of Wolverhampton. Gareth was a landscape gardener with Cornish clay in his blood. The business was established in 2002 and evolves as life does. They have been awarded a number of prizes for their creativity and supplied many galleries over the years as well as working with the National Trust and The Victoria and Albert Museum. They have exhibited extensively, both nationally and internationally, in Europe and China but their roots remain strongly in their home county of Cornwall.

They live and work near Truro with their children, Rosa and Ithan and their hound dog Bridie.
